Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani female born to an Russian father and a Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian and English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. In her early teens she choreographed and performed a dance which resulted in an appearance on German TV appearance. The dance featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. She graduated from high school in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes in the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation at The Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and a Russian mom Olga. The family moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, with her father when she turned 13 and stars with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Television actress who is best known for her portrayal of former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She was a character who appeared in Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
